Data Deletion Instructions

If you would like your data deleted from CommentCart, please use one of the methods below.

Option 1: Request Deletion by Email

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Data Deletion Request.

Please include the following details in your request:

Your CommentCart account email address, your store name if applicable, and your connected Instagram username or business account identifier.

Option 2: Disconnect Your Instagram Account

Vendors may disconnect their Instagram / Meta connection from the CommentCart dashboard. Disconnecting stops future automation and future data collection for that connected account.

If you want all stored CommentCart account data deleted as well, please also email [email protected] so we can complete the deletion request.

What We Delete

Depending on the request, we may delete:

connected Instagram/Facebook account identifiers, access tokens, connection metadata, comment automation logs, media-to-product/store mappings, vendor account records, and related operational data that is not required for legal, fraud-prevention, billing, security, or backup purposes.

Deletion Timeline

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 7 business days, although some limited records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, or backup recovery cycles.

Verification

To protect account security, we may need to verify that the deletion request is being made by the account owner or an authorized representative before completing the request.
